Beaverton Police Arrest Person Officers Say Crashed Into Police Car
Beaverton police said that a hit and run Thursday turned into a chase with several other cars getting hit before the driver was arrested.

BEAVERTON, OR — Beaverton police said that officers got a call just after 8 a.m. Thursday morning telling them that there had been a hit and run across the street from the police station at southwest Allen Blvd. and Main Ave. The calls said that the driver of a silver Nissan had crashed into a fence and kept going.
Police said that soon after they got another call saying that the driver had been spotted at a nearby apartment complex by Southwest 2nd St. and Franklin Ave.
Officers arrived and found a person moving stuff from the Nissan to a blue Subaru Legacy, according to police.

They added that when officers approached the man drove off in the Subaru and crashed into parked cars, police vehicles and an apartment building.
The man, whose name has not been released, was charged with hit and run, attempt to elude and unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.
