Dancing Woman Gets DUII After Car Rolls Into Bus: Police
Della Sill reportedly exited her SUV so she could dance on NW Cedar Hills Blvd, leaving her car to roll into a TriMet bus Tuesday night.

BEAVERTON, OR — A Portland woman was cited and released by officers in Beaverton Tuesday night after stopping and getting out of her car on Northwest Cedar Hills Boulevard so she could dance, apparently, leaving her vehicle to roll backward into a TriMet bus. No injuries were reported.
Della M. Sill, 35, was taken to hospital after officers located her near the intersection of Northwest Cedar Hills Boulevard and Northwest Leahy Road. Beaverton police officials said Sill's "strange behavior" led officers to err on the side of caution and take her to hospital for evaluation.
Ultimately, Sill was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Officers were dispatched to the low-speed crash just before 10:45 p.m. June 5. However, according to Beaverton police spokesman Jeremy Shaw, officers were specifically sent to conduct a welfare check on a woman dancing in the street.
It wasn't until officers arrived on scene that they learned Sill's car had rolled backward into a bus, damaging both vehicles, Shaw said.

Clearly too impaired to drive but also behaving strangely, Sill was taken to St. Vincent Medical Center for evaluation, Shaw said. She was released afterward.
