BEAVERTON, OR — Tigard police this week continue to search for the man who last Friday cut a skateboarder after an altercation in Barrows Park, near the Progress Ridge Townsquare. The alleged assault specifically occurred on the Southside of the park, which is officially within the jurisdiction of the Tigard Police Department.
The suspect was reportedly walking a small dog, possibly a Jack Russell Terrier-type dog, along the Barrows Park trail around 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17. As the suspect passed by two skateboarders sitting along the trail they reportedly made some comment that angered him, which initiated some kind of argument.
According to Tigard police spokesman Jim Wolf, the content of the comment isn't entirely known but it had something to do with the man's dog.
