• Red Cross urges blood donations as holiday travel, winter weather disrupt supply (oregonlive.com) — Beaverton residents have several chances in the coming days to donate blood locally, including drives at the Beaverton Library, Tektronix Fitness Center, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Golden Valley Brewery, Kaiser Permanente Beaverton, and the Beaverton YMCA, plus the Beaverton Blood Donation Center. The Red Cross says holiday travel and winter weather are straining supplies and is especially seeking Type O, A negative, and B negative donors.
