1 Injured In Beaverton Food Cart Explosion
A food cart exploded at BG's Food Cartel off SW Rose Biggi Avenue Wednesday morning injuring one woman and damaging one other nearby cart.

BEAVERTON, OR — Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue personnel responded to a food cart explosion at BG's Foot Cartel food court Wednesday morning, officials announced via Twitter.
TVF&R firefighters were dispatched to the 4200-block of Southwest Rose Biggi Avenue following 911 reports of an explosion just after 10:45 a.m. March 21.
A Beaverton police officer in the area also heard the explosion and was the first emergency responder on scene, TVF&R spokesman Brandon Pratt said in a statement.

The fire was reportedly out by the time TVF&R crews arrived, which was only minutes after the explosion was first reported, Pratt said.

A woman who was operating the food cart at the time of the explosion sustained minor injuries and was pulled to safety by civilian bystanders, Pratt said, noting no other injuries were reported.

One food cart reportedly sustained significant damage, while another one nearby received only minor damage.
Officials currently believe the explosion was accidental, though the incident is still under investigation, Pratt said.
