Oregon Health Authority Director Patrick Allen Home, Recovering
Patrick Allen fell and was hospitalized on Sunday. He was then evaluated for "heart issues." He's now back home and recovering.

BEAVERTON, OR — Oregon Health Authority Director Patrick Allen is back home and resting. He had been hospitalized after a fall on Sunday.
On Tuesday, officials said that he had been kept longer at the hospital while he was evaluated for "heart issues." OHA did not elaborate on that but stressed that it was a "non-COVID" issue.
On Wednesday morning, he was released and is said to be at home and resting.

OHA quoted Allen, who has been the director since September 2017, saying that he is "looking forward to returning to work."
A date for Allen's return has not been set.
