Prolific Peeping Tom Arrested 3rd Time: Police

Caught twice already for spying on 2 grown women in their homes, Diego Lopez-Herrea was arrested Sunday for wearing a 3rd victim's clothes.

BEAVERTON, OR — A prolific peeping Tom in Washington County was arrested again on Sunday. This time, however, Diego Lopez-Herrea was charged with burglary after police reportedly learned he'd stepped up from just watching women through their windows and moved on to trying on his victims' clothing.

Lopez-Herrea, 27, was arrested on both April 7 and May 15 for allegedly peering into the residential windows of two different women in Beaverton. For those incidents Lopez-Herrea was charged with invasion of privacy.

On May 20, Beaverton police arrested Lopez-Herrea for a third incident that allegedly occurred less than 24 hours after his previous arrest.

According to Beaverton police authorities, after his release on May 16 Lopez-Herrea broke into a home in the 6500-block of Southwest 123rd Avenue to try on a woman's clothing. It's unclear how police identified Lopez-Herrea as a suspect in this case, or why it took another four days before he was arrested again.

Lopez-Herrea's first arrest on April 7 came after he was caught looking in a window at a home in the 13700-block of Southwest Electric Street.

On May 15, Lopez-Herrea was arrested came after he was caught peering in the window of a home in the 6400-block of Southwest Alice Lane, across town roughly three miles from the first home.

Beaverton police still believe Lopez-Herrea has more victims.
