The suspect reportedly raped a 28-year-old woman who was walking the Fanno Creek Trail in the Garden Home-Whitford area last month.

RALEIGH HILLS, OR — Washington County Sheriff's officials on Thursday released a composite sketch depicting a sexual assault suspect who allegedly attacked a 28-year-old woman in the Garden Home-Whitford area last month. Sheriff's officials reportedly hope by releasing the sketch the community can help them identify and locate the suspect.
The sexual assault occurred in the afternoon on July 19, officials said. The victim was reportedly walking the Fanno Creek Trail, near the Garden Home Recreation Center, around 4:30 p.m. when the suspect approached her and began a light conversation.
After speaking a little while, officials say the suspect suddenly grabbed the woman and pulled her from the trail into the nearby brush where he raped her multiple times before she was able to escape.
