From my notebook:

  • The weather is heating up, things are drying out, and fire season is here. Beaverton City Government reminds folks to keep fire safety in mind when you're spending time in the great outdoors: "Getting together with friends and family this weekend? With dry weather and warmer temps, the risk of fire danger is still out there. Be sure to be fire safe as you have fun. Use extra caution with barbeque grills and find alternatives to fireworks." (Beaverton City Government via Facebook)
