Washington County Child Predator Sting Results In 3 Arrests

BEAVERTON, OR – Three men are under arrest, charged with luring a minor and online sexual corruption of a child.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says they were conducting a sting operation in which investigators posed online as young girls and boys.

Officials say that several people didn't fall for the bait, imediately cutting off the chat when they discovered they were talking about sex with a "child."

The sheriff's office says that the three who kept chatting and ended up getting arrested are:

• Robert Lee-Olsen, 38, of Beaverton;
• Andrew Arstill, 32, of Aloha; and
• Gregory Parker, 35, of Portland.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office says that they offer online safety education for parents and community groups. They also urge parents to keep an eye on the sites that their children visit.

Lake Oswego police assisted with the sting.
