Centennial Schools Free Meals Continue This Summer

Centennial School District will open some of its schools this summer to provide free meals to children 18 and younger.

GRESHAM, OR — The Centennial School District will again offer free breakfasts and lunches to children 18 and younger. Under the program, different schools will provide breakfast and lunch for students at no cost to the student.

Because of new rules from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, all meals must be eaten at the schools; there will be no takeout options.

Here are the schools, times and dates when meals will be available.

Breakfast

  • Butler Creek Elementary School, July 5-July 22, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m.
  • Meadows Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug. 12, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m.
  • Parklane Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug. 12, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m.
  • Powell Butte Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug. 12, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m.

Lunch

  • Centennial High School, June 20-Aug. 29, Monday-Friday, 10:45 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
  • Centennial Middle School, through Aug. 29, Monday-Friday, 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Oliver Middle School, June 20-Aug. 29, Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Butler Creek Elementary School. July 5-July 22, Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Meadows Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug. 12, Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Parklane Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug. 12, Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Powell Butte Elementary School, Aug. 1-Aug-12, Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m.

There will be no free meal service on July 4.
