It was the second time in just a couple of months that a couple moving to the area stayed at the hotel in the 1000 block of Northwest Graham Road in Troutdale before driving the final leg, only to wake up in the morning to find their possessions stolen.
The sheriff's office said that the U-Haul truck held a combination of household items such as clothes, tools, workout equipment and furniture, along with sentimental items such as photos and artwork.
The sheriff's office asked anyone with information about the theft to call the nonemergency line, 503-823-3333, and refer to Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office report number 22-15381.
