Gresham Man Missing, Police Say

GRESHAM, OR — A Gresham man with memory problems has been missing since May 23 and police are asking the community to help find him.

Ricky Butcher, 55, suffers memory problems caused by a stroke, police officials said.

Butcher was reportedly last seen at his home in Gresham last Wednesday morning; he is known to visit the downtown Portland area.

Butcher is 5-foot-9 and roughly 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black beanie, and a black and gray backpack.

Anyone who sees Butcher or knows where he is is encouraged to call the non-emergency police line at 503-823-3333, or, if necessary, 911.
