• Crews respond to two rescues only hours apart on Sandy River in Troutdale (kptv.com) — Gresham firefighters helped rescue two different campers and their pets from the Sandy River near Lewis and Clark State Park in Troutdale early Friday morning. Working in waist- to chest-deep water and using drones in the dark, crews safely brought out a man and dog in the first call, then a man and cat in a second rescue hours later.
