FAIRVIEW, OR — Tiffany Bettis has been missing since March 2015. On Thursday, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, renewed its effort to find her by calling on the community once again for help.
Bettis, also known as Melinda Smith, was last seen at the Quality Inn in Gresham on March 2, 2015. When she disappeared, Bettis reportedly maintained a home in Fairview but also had ties to Roseburg. She also left behind three children and a large family, sheriff's officials said.
Friends, family, and people acquainted with Bettis have told investigators they do not believe Bettis would have left her kids so willingly. The sheriff's office has reportedly not ruled out foul play.
