Portland-Area Jobs: Amazon Is Hiring Seasonal And Full--Time

The online retail giant is having two huge hiring events this week in the area.

The first hiring event is in Troutdale on Wednesday and Thursday at the Amazon Recruiting Office at 1250 NW Swigert Way from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m..

The second one is Thursday and Friday at the Best Western at 37465 Highway 26 in Sandy. It runs from 12:30 p.m. until 8 p.m..

Amazon says that you should be prepared to spend about two hours at the event and to make it easier for yourself, you should bring the necessary documents with you.

The company offers health care benefits on day one, holiday and overtime pay, paid time off, maternity leave, parental leave, and help with school tuition.

Also, while you would start at $14.25/hour, on November 1, everyone gets a raise to $16/hour.
