• Baker City OSP busts California fugitive (elkhornmediagroup.com) — A Halfway resident was recently arrested in Baker City after a routine traffic stop revealed an outstanding California warrant for serious alleged offenses. He was taken to Baker County Jail on high bail, with a court status hearing set for December 17. A family member collected his vehicle and dog from the scene.
