2 Men Arrested For Raping Teen Girl: Police
Christopher Iverson and Chan Hwang both face numerous sex abuse charges for allegedly paying the same 13-year-old girl for sex.

HILLSBORO, OR — Washington County Sheriff's officials on Wednesday announced the arrests of two men, in north Portland and Grants Pass, respectively, who are accused of sexually abusing the same 13-year-old girl.
Christopher Ian Iverson, 50, was arrested on June 27 by Washington County Sheriff's detectives and taken to Multnomah County Jail. He is charged with multiple counts each of rape, sodomy, and online sexual corruption of a minor. Additionally, Iverson faces charges for strangulation, sex abuse, luring a minor, and using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct.
Iverson will reportedly be prosecuted by the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office. His bail is currently set at more than $1.5 million.

Chan Woo Hwang, 30, was arrested July 17 at his home outside Grants Pass. Hwang was taken to Josephine County Jail and charged with rape, sex abuse, commercial sexual solicitation, encouraging child abuse, and luring a minor. His bail is set at just more than $1.01 million.

According to court documents obtained by Patch, the girl's father called detectives on Jan. 24 after finding photos of his daughter performing sexually explicit acts with adult men on her phone. Apparently, the teen was caught sneaking out the night before so her dad took her phone as punishment.

Along with the images, the girl's dad also found sexually explicit text message exchanges and web browsing history that showed the girl had visited SeekingArrangments.com, a website dedicated to connecting women with "Sugar Daddies" — men who provide gifts and often financial help in exchange for companionship, which is typically considered sexual in nature.
Iverson, who police say runs RepWarrior.com — a site that helps hide personal, typically negative content from online search engines — was one of the many individuals with whom the girl had reportedly communicated.
Additionally, with regard to the girl's interaction with Iverson, detectives noted a comment she made indicating a pimp may also be involved.
Apparently another man was present when Iverson allegedly met the girl on Jan. 23. The unidentified other man reportedly took the $200 payment on the girl's behalf.
How Hwang first contacted the girl is not entirely clear at this time, but police have indicated he too had a sexual relationship at some point with the 13-year-old girl.
The investigation into Hwang's involvement reportedly revealed a history of meeting up and paying for sex with women he'd met online. According to Washington County officials, Hwang would also covertly record the sex acts and used the videos to blackmail the women into meeting him for more sex — presumably without having to pay again.
Details regarding Hwang's case will be made available after he is transferred from Josephine to Washington County, where he'll be prosecuted for his alleged crimes.
Investigators reportedly believe there are more victims of both these accused men. Anyone with information on either of these cases should call detectives at 503-846-2500.
