Body Found By Hillsboro Airport, Police Conducting Death Investigation

Hillsboro police said that they are investigating the death of a person whose body was found Wednesday afternoon in a field by the airport.

HILLSBORO, OR —A death investigation is underway after a body was found in a field by Hillsboro Airport Wednesday afternoon, Hillsboro police said Wednesday evening.

The body was found just after 2 p.m. in the field by the intersection of Northeast 25th Avenue and Northeast Beacon Court, police said.

No details about the person have been released.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team — which includes teens and young adults from ages 14 to 21 — is assisting in the investigation, police said. The group is led by search and rescue experts from the sheriff's office, and it's the county's lead search and rescue team, according to police.
