Fatal Crash Kills Motorcycle Rider In Hillsboro Monday Morning
The rider's name has not yet been released, pending next of kin notification. The crash occurred on NW Brookwood Parkway, near Highway 26.

HILLSBORO, OR — A two-vehicle collision north of Hillsboro Monday morning reportedly took the life of a motorcycle rider, Hillsboro police officials said. The name of the deceased rider will be released following next of kin notification.
The crash occurred on Northwest Brookwood Parkway at the Highway 26 eastbound on-ramp, which is controlled by a traffic signal, Hillsboro police spokesman Lt. Henry Reimann said.
It appears the rider was on his 2009 Suzuki and traveling north on NW Brookwood Parkway toward the interchange when he smashed into a left-turning 2017 Honda CRV, which was turning from southbound Brookwood onto Highway 26, just after 8:15 a.m. Aug. 13.

The Honda driver was reportedly turning through a flashing yellow light when the collision took place.

The Honda driver remained at the scene of the crash, Reimann said, adding the driver did not sustain any injuries. The motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
