Forest Grove Police Investigate Suspicious Death

FOREST GROVE, OR — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 54-year-old woman in Forest Grove, officials announced Wednesday.

While conducting a welfare check on a resident at the College Place Apartments, 2144 Hawthorne St., officers found Cynthia Lou Belton dead at 4:15 p.m. March 19.

Detectives in Forest Grove, describing Belton's death as suspicious, have enlisted the aid of both the Washington County Major Crimes Team and Oregon State Police Forensics.
