Highway 26 Shooting Leads To Arrest On Attempted Murder, Other Charges

HILLSBORO, OR — The man that Hillsboro police say fired shots into another car as they both drove along Highway 26 last month is under arrest. The arrest came exactly one month after the April 6 incident.

Carl Ryon Anthony Sehy, 32, of Portland, is charged with attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. As of Friday evening, he was being held at the Washington County Jail awaiting arraignment.

Sehy was driving along Highway 26 by NE Cornelius Pass Road when he got into a confrontation with and fired shots into a car carrying a family of five, according to Hillsboro police.

No one was seriously injured in the incident, though several people received cuts from shattered glass, police said.
