Vickery has been working in the education field for the past decade, Scott said in his announcement.

In 2016, Vickery transitioned to an assistant principal position at Glencoe.

"Mr. Vickery has a history with and deep affection for Hilhi," Scott said. "(Vickery) states that this is his 'dream job,' and that he is excited to partner with the staff to further strengthen instructional practices and build upon successful student outcomes.

" I am confident he will do an excellent job as principal of Hilhi."
