Hillsboro Police Identify Victim Found Shot To Death In Parking Lot

Hillsboro Police said that Carlos Arellano-Garcia was shot to death in a parking lot on Friday morning.

HILLSBORO, OR — Hillsboro Police on Monday identified the person found shot to death Friday morning in a parking lot as 27-year-old Carlos Arellano-Garcia. His killer is still at large, according to police.

The shooting was a "directed, intentional attack on" Arellano-Garcia, police told Patch. They do not believe there is an ongoing danger to the public.

Arellano-Garcia as found dead just after 4 a.m. on Friday.

Officers found him after responding to calls to 911 that shots had been fired.

Police ask that anyone with information about the shooting to please call detective Pat LaMonica at patrick.lamonica@hillsboro-oregon.gov or call the police department's records unit at 503-681-6190 in reference to HPD case #22-6891.
