Hillsboro Schools Change Bus Routes Because Of Driver Shortage

Low ridership and a shortage of bus drivers is forcing the Hillsboro School District to make changes to bus routes.

HILLSBORO, OR — It's going to be a different getting to school for a bunch of students starting Monday. The district let parents know that some routes, some are being eliminated, and others are going to receive some changes.

The district said that the changes are necessary because of several factors including low student ridership in some areas and the current shortage of bus drivers.
