Masks Are Optional, Available & Welcome In All Hillsboro City Facilities

Masks are no longer required within all City of Hillsboro facilities as of Saturday, March 12, 2022.

This policy update follows revised rules and guidance from the Oregon Health Authority.

Popular City of Hillsboro locations will continue to make disposable masks available and welcome for anyone who wishes to wear one, including:

• Brookwood Library
• Shute Park Library
• SHARC
• Hidden Creek Community Center
• Hillsboro Community Senior Center
• Hillsboro Civic Center

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):

• People may choose to mask at any time, including those who are immunocompromised or at high risk for severe disease
• People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask
• Masks can help protect you and others from COVID-19
