• ESD & BMHD partner to bring Stop the Bleed course to Grant County schools (elkhornmediagroup.com) — Students in John Day and across Grant County are learning how to control life-threatening bleeding through the Stop the Bleed course, offered by the Grant County Education Service District and Blue Mountain Hospital. Taught by local trauma specialists, the program includes hands-on training, take-home bleeding control kits for each student, and new public access bleeding control stations in participating schools, with more campuses scheduled soon.
