• Award of Merit, Water/Environment: La Pine Water and Wastewater Systems Improvements (WWSI) Project (enr.com) — Major upgrades to La Pine’s water and sewer systems have earned an Award of Merit while connecting nearly 300 properties to safer municipal services. The decade-long, $37.1 million effort replaced failing septic systems, added a large new storage lagoon and reservoir, and improved wells and pipelines, tackling long-standing groundwater nitrate concerns for local residents.
