• Portland man arrested for allegedly burglarizing Lake Oswego home (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego police arrested a Portland man after an attempted burglary at an unoccupied Parkhill Street home, and they’re still searching for a second suspect. Officers say video from the homeowner helped them track a suspicious vehicle and recover a stolen firearm. Residents with information are urged to contact the Lake Oswego Police detectives tip line or submit an anonymous tip online. 
• Lake Oswego's LaMarcus Bell wins Gatorade Player of the Year (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego football standout LaMarcus Bell has been named Oregon’s Gatorade Player of the Year after leading the Lakers to a Class 6A state championship. The Utah-bound senior rushed for 1,603 yards and 25 touchdowns, credits his offensive line and coaches, and says he’s proud to finish his high school career “on top.”
• Clackamas Co DA Issues Statement On Officer-Involved Shooting (freedom970.com) — Lake Oswego police are helping lead the investigation into a recent officer-involved shooting in unincorporated Clackamas County, where deputies shot a Wilsonville man who allegedly advanced on them with an axe. The case will go before a county grand jury to review the use of deadly force, while the involved deputies remain on paid administrative leave.
