The sheriff’s office lists individuals wanted for probation violations, DUII, theft, drug charges, and other offenses, and provides phone numbers for both Newberg police and county detectives so community members can report information safely and anonymously.
   

• OSAA flips decision, approves new classification system with 6A/5A hybrid leagues (oregonlive.com) — Newberg High School will remain in the Pacific Conference under OSAA’s newly approved 2026–30 classification plan, alongside Century, Forest Grove, Glencoe, McMinnville and Sherwood. The statewide shakeup restores a 6A/5A Midwestern Hybrid League and tweaks several other conferences, changes that will shape league schedules and travel for Newberg athletes starting with the 2026–27 school year.
