5 Oregon City Brunch Places You Need to Try

Breakfast is a good thing. Lunch, arguably, is too. But nothing can compete with brunch.

OREGON CITY, OR- If brunch is your jam (no pun intended) then you'll have no shortage of spots to grab a bite. Whether you're looking for a decadent Benedict, a smoked salmon bagel or a well-brewed, complicated coffee drink-Oregon City has plenty of brunch places to pick from.

  • Caufield House is the only place on this list that has all 4 classic brunch drinks on their menu, and they offer all at them at fair prices. Order a Bloody Mary, a screwdriver, a Baileys and Creme or a mimosa, none of which will cost you more than $7. Drinking on an empty stomach is frowned upon in the middle of the day, so why not order their homemade quiche or the Rise and Shine (two eggs any style with your choice of breakfast meat and coffee).

  • Howell's Restaurant is a good spot for people looking for a brunch that's more along the lines of lunch. They do have a couple of egg dishes on their menu, but the classic all-beef burger is what they're best known for. Howell's is an affordable option for the whole family. They serve breakfast all day long, so the kids can order pancakes for dinner.

  • Rivershore Bar & Grill is best known for their 'Eye Opener' entrees-like the Oregon Sunrise, for example. It's two eggs any style, your choice of breakfast meat and country potatoes for only $9. Maybe you'd prefer steak and eggs? It's only a few dollars more, and a favorite among those who frequent Rivershore.

  • Yvonne's is located in historical downtown Oregon City, and its diverse menu packs a punch. One of the most popular entrees is the 'Working Mans Breakfast,' which features two eggs any style, choice of bacon, ham, or sausage, rosemary hash browns, and a biscuit, pancake, or toast-all for $10. And lest we forget *drumroll* mimosas! If you're really going for it, I'd recommend picking up a pitcher of the Habanero Peach mimosas.
