Car Hits ODOT Worker On 205, Sends Him To OHSU, Seriously Injured

The driver, who also hit several cars, stayed at the scene of the crash. The investigation continues.

OREGON CITY, OR —An ODOT worker was seriously injured when a black Volkswagen struck him as he worked on 205. Officials say that 38-year-old Grant Riedel was rushed to OHSU.

Oregon State Police, who responded to the crash, said that the driver had been heading southbound when it hit several other vehicles before striking Riedel.

Officials say that the car was towed by Day-N-Nite Towing and that state police were assisted by Clackamas Fire.
