Clackamas County Lifts Rural Burn Ban
Clackamas Fire District #1 as of Friday lifted the county-wide backyard burn ban for rural residents. In-city burning remains prohibited.

OREGON CITY, OR — Clackamas County fire officials as of Friday have lifted the backyard burn ban for rural properties outside city limits. Backyard burning within city limits is prohibited at all times, year-round.
Burn piles should be kept within a 10-foot by 10-foot by 10-foot area, and at least 50 feet from any structures. Additionally, all fires should remain attended to while active.
Prior to beginning any backyard burns, county residents are asked to check the district's burn status hotline by calling 503-632-0211, or check online at ClackamasFire.com.
