Sharing our own stories and listening to the stories of others are simple yet powerful acts that can help bridge distance and difference, and unite people around a common purpose. Our goal is to showcase the outstanding students, staff, and community members that make North Clackamas such an amazing place to live, work, and learn, by focusing on our Classrooms, Colleagues, and Community. Not only are the first five years of a child's life critical to their lifelong development, but getting off to a good start in kindergarten can make a big difference in a student’s educational career. Authentically engaging students in their learning begins with making student voice a priority. Educators use student voice as a driver for their instruction when they center student ideas, interests, perspectives, backgrounds, and home cultures in the classroom. Shortly after Carmen and Brian Meyer opened their first Cha! Cha! Cha! Mexican Taqueria location in Sellwood, the couple moved to Milwaukie to be closer to their business. But after getting to know the community, the Meyers decided to bring their business closer to their new home, opening a new location on Main Street in 2005. READ MORE>>
