Oregon City Man Sentenced for Fishing Offenses

Fishing guide sentenced to 36 months probation and ten days in jail.

Oregon City resident Wayne Priddy won't be fishing anytime soon.

The fishing guide has been ordered not to fish or help anyone fish until January 10, 2017.

He can't even possess any fishing equipment outside of his home until that date.

He also has to pay $250 in fines, spend ten days in jail, and spend three years on probation.

Priddy had pleaded guilty to one count of aiding in a wildlife offense.

The charge stemmed from a trip where he had allowed people to keep fishing after they had reached their limit.
