OREGON CITY, OR — It was a great weekend, weather-wise. The sun shined brightly through most of it. The temperature climbed above 70 degrees.

That's quickly becoming a thing of the past.

The National Weather Service's Portland office forecasts a week of cooler weather. And rain. A lot of rain.

Monday should start off okay and then develop into a cloudy, rainy afternoon and evening, they said. That pattern should hold most of the week.

The highs won't go above 60 degrees and there should even be some snow with the level dropping to about 3,000 feet, according to forecasters.

The National Weather Service said that the heaviest rains will be on Tuesday.
