Warming Centers Provide Relief In Clackamas County

When weather temperatures are forecasted to hit 33 degrees or lower, warming centers throughout Clackamas County open their doors for refuge.

Residents who need to seek relief from the cold temperatures, snow, and ice can find either a daytime or an overnight warming center in various communities throughout the county.

You can find out if a warming center is open by calling 211, visiting www.211.org or visiting our webpage.

Here are the current locations of overnight warming centers that are slated to open when temps are expected to fall to 33 degrees or lower:

• Oregon City
  The Fathers Heart Ministry
  603 12th Street, Oregon City 97045
• Molalla
  Molalla Hope
  209 Kennel Avenue, Molalla 97038

The county is negotiating with warming center providers in additional communities.

For over 10 years, Clackamas County supports a network of overnight warming centers to ensure that people living outdoors have a safe place to sleep on nights when the temperature is forecast to fall below 33 degrees.
