Tigard residents may need to change passwords after cybersecurity incident at city's alert system vendor (kgw.com) — Tigard residents who use the city’s CodeRED emergency alert system are being urged to change their passwords after a cybersecurity incident at vendor OnSolve disrupted service nationwide and may have exposed personal information. City officials say emergency notifications are still working, but names, emails, phone numbers, addresses and passwords for some subscribers could have been accessed. Those without a CodeRED password don’t need to take action.

Tom Anderson appointed to Tigard City Council (valleytimes.news) — A familiar face is returning to Tigard’s leadership, as former councilor Tom Anderson has been appointed to fill the City Council seat vacated when Yi-Kang Hu became mayor.
