Construction Worker Killed By Vehicle At Wilsonville Job Site

WILSONVILLE, OR — A construction worker was hit by a construction vehicle and killed Tuesday at a job site in Wilsonville, authorities said.

The worker was hit around 2 p.m. Tuesday on Southwest Industrial Way, a spokesman for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office told Patch in an email.

The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.

Several agencies responded to the scene, including the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

"We offer our sincere condolences to the family and coworkers," the sheriff's office said.

The case remains under investigation. Further details weren't immediately released.
