• West Linn girls basketball races past Wilsonville (wilsonvillespokesman.com) — Wilsonville High’s girls basketball team fell 80–45 on the road to rival West Linn, despite a 25-point effort from senior guard Gabi Moultrie. The game, part of a tough preseason schedule against top 5A and 6A programs, is being framed by Wilsonville players as valuable preparation for the rest of their season. 
• Clackamas Co DA Issues Statement On Officer-Involved Shooting (freedom970.com) — Clackamas County’s district attorney has released new details after deputies contracted to the Wilsonville Police Department shot a 19-year-old Wilsonville resident who allegedly approached them with an axe during a domestic disturbance call. The man remains in critical condition, the deputies are on paid leave, and the case will go to a grand jury under the county’s critical incident protocol.
