• ClackCo axe-wielding suspect shot by deputies identified (koin.com) — Wilsonville residents should know that a 19-year-old man from Wilsonville was critically injured after Clackamas County deputies, contracted to the Wilsonville Police Department, shot him during a domestic violence call on December 5. Investigators say he allegedly charged deputies with an axe near SW Stafford Road and SW 65th Avenue, and the case will go before a Clackamas County grand jury.
   

• Wilsonville man sentenced to 15 years for child pornography (wilsonvillespokesman.com) — A Wilsonville resident has been sentenced in federal court to more than 15 years in prison, plus a decade of supervised release, for possessing and transporting child sexual abuse materials. Federal investigators say he shared illegal content online over several months, and prosecutors emphasize that protecting children from exploitation remains a top priority in Oregon.
