• Red Cross urges blood donations as holiday travel, winter weather disrupt supply (oregonlive.com) — Wilsonville residents can donate blood today, Dec. 22, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Wilsonville Public Library on SW Wilsonville Road, part of a wider Red Cross push to bolster holiday blood supplies. Donors, especially with Type O, A negative, or B negative blood, are encouraged to schedule appointments and may receive perks like a T‑shirt or entry into a Super Bowl trip drawing. 
• Oregon nursery group honors industry members, advocates (capitalpress.com) — Wilsonville residents might be interested to know that the Oregon Association of Nurseries, headquartered in town, has honored growers, educators, and political advocates from across the state with its 2025 awards. The recognitions highlight leadership in education, industry service, and legislative advocacy that support Oregon’s $1.22 billion nursery and greenhouse sector.
