3 New Police Officers Take Oath In Cheltenham Twp.
The Cheltenham Township Police Department also said goodbye to four retirees, including a longtime detective.

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Cheltenham Township Police Department said goodbye to one of its longtime detectives and hello to three new police officers and two new recruits.
Cheltenham Township Police honored Detective Denise Tecce on her retirement on Friday after 28 years of service to township residents.
Tecce began her career as a patrol officer in 1996 and over the years, she served as a SWAT Hostage Negotiator, as a member of the Narcotics Strike Team, a Community Policing Unit, as a School Resource Officer, and retired as a Juvenile Detective.

She was also the recipient of multiple commendations throughout her career.
"Denise cared greatly for the job and even more so for the men and women who worked alongside her," the police department said. "Denise, enjoy your well-deserved retirement and the next chapter of your life."

Meanwhile, the police department welcomed three new officers and two new recruits to the force.
Police officers Canally, Rajkowski and El-Eisawy were recently sworn in while two new recruits who are attending the Montgomery County Police Academy, Recruit Torzon and Recruit Swanson, were also introduced.
Besides Tecce's retirement, the police department also recognized the retirements of Lt. Dan Farly, Detective Steven Motta, and Detective Ron Cupo.
