Holiday Tree Recycling All Month In Abington
Abington Township officials said residents can get rid of their trees through curbside pickup until Jan. 30.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — With Christmas over, residents will begin putting away their holiday decorations. The township will take the trees.

Trees will not be collected if they still have lights, wires, decorations, or are attached to a tree stand or wrapped in a plastic bag.

- Leaf collection has been delayed due to weather conditions. Public Works resumed their collection schedule on Tuesday and will continue throughout this week, and possibly into next week.
- Abington's Board of Commissioners will hold its reorganization meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday in person and by webinar. The board will elect one member as president and another as vice president. All interested parties are invited to attend.
