
DUI and careless driving … Ernest Boston, 25, of Rowan Street, Philadelphia, was arrested July 8 at 2:17 a.m. following a traffic stop after he blew a red light on Huntingdon Pike near Holy Redeemer Hospital, police said. According to police, Boston smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and said he was coming from a fraternity brother’s house in Bensalem. Boston failed two field sobriety tests and almost fell over as he exited his vehicle. Boston refused a blood test, police said.
Retail theft … Nadia Ait Ammi, 43, of Line Road, Lansdale; and Hanane Elhafid, 30, of Line Road, Lansdale, were arrested July 7 at 2:23 p.m. after a Bloomingdale’s loss prevention officer saw both suspects enter a fitting room and conceal $855 worth of merchandise, police said. According to police, the items included LaCoste and Diesel brand shirts as well as two Ralph Lauren items. Both suspects signed a statement admitting to the theft.

Felony aggravated assault and reckless endangerment … Katharine Irving, 43, of Elm Avenue, North Hills, was arrested July 6 at 1:35 p.m. at her residence after the complainant said Irving stabbed him with a large knife following an argument, police said. A detective spoke to the complainant while he was being treated at Abington Memorial Hospital. He said Irving lunged at him and stabbed him with an overhead motion in the upper thigh.
DUI and open container … Javier Gonzalez, 30, of South 5th Street, North Wales, was arrested July 5 after he made a sudden U-turn near the corner of Township Line Road and West Avenue, causing a police officer to slam on his brakes to avoid a crash, police said. According to police, there was a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle; Gonzalez had glassy and bloodshot eyes and appeared disheveled. When Gonzalez exited the vehicle, his pants zipper was down and his pants were below his waist. Police found an open Heineken beer on the driver’s side floor as well as a closed can of Budweiser. Gonzalez refused a blood test.

False identification to law enforcement … Latrice Roberts, 24, of Parrish Street, Philadelphia, was arrested July 2 at 10:11 p.m. following a traffic stop for having a malfunctioning tail light while driving near the corner of Township Line Road and Susan Drive, police said. According to police, Roberts said she did not have her license with her, and then gave the name and date of birth of her sister. Roberts later admitted to giving false identification.
DUI and careless driving … Andrew Reynolds, 71, of Hamilton Avenue, Willow Grove, was arrested June 24 at 12:04 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Easton Road after he crossed the double yellow lines and was seen weaving in his lane, police said. According to police, Reynolds had extremely slurred speech and was uncoordinated. Reynolds said he was coming from a bar in Germantown. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken to Fast Track — where he was very uncooperative. Reynolds demanded an attorney and refused a breath test, police said.
Possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and driving without a license … Joseph Robert Morgan Jr., 51, of Buchanan Street, Phoenixville, was arrested June 20 at 12:55 p.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Easton and Susquehanna roads after a passenger threw a cigarette butt out the window; the car also had a broken rear window, police said. According to police, Morgan, the driver, said, “I don’t have a license, it’s suspended.” Morgan had bloodshot eyes and appeared to be nervous. Police found a small blue wax baggie and two small clear plastic baggies in his possession.
Criminal mischief and disorderly conduct … James Devereaux, 34, of Ashbourne Road, Elkins Park; and Andrew Daythal Kendall, 30, of Fulton Street, Lancaster, were arrested June 2 at 1:05 p.m. after both were seen fighting in the 1100 block of Easton Road in Roslyn, police said. According to police, Kendall had bloodshot and glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol. During the fight, Devereaux and Kendall knocked over a Yamaha motorcycle, causing $500 worth of damage.
