Allen Oscar Lundberg, Veteran and Member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Roslyn

Allen Oscar Lundberg, of Hatboro, died Friday, Nov. 8 at his residence. He was 95.

Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Oscar Lundberg and the late Judith Lundberg (née Carlson). 

He was the husband of Vivian Lundberg; father of Christy Molony, Doug Lundberg and Diane Wyatt; grandfather of Kimberly, Robin, Heather and Shane; and great- grandfather of Hannah and Maya.

Lundberg was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx and City College of New York where he received his B.S. in business accounting. Lundberg was a controller for the Budd Company in Philadelphia.

He and his wife moved to Pennsylvania in 1960 and became members of Living Word Lutheran Church in Roslyn where he joined the building committee and served as President of the Church Counsel. He was an Eagle Scout and a Captain in the U.S. Army during World War II, retiring from the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. at Living Word Lutheran Church, 1250 Easton Road, Roslyn.

Religious services will be conducted by the Rev. Ellen M. Anderson from Living Word Lutheran Church.

Arrangements are by Wetzel and Son Funeral Home.
