Back to School: Abington School District 2022-23 School Calendar
Parents of schoolchildren in the Abington Township School District can mark the first day of school coming up later this summer.
ABINGTON, PA — Back-to-school planning has officially begun in the Abington area, with school calendars now available to help parents prepare for the first day of school in the Abington Township School District.
The first day of school for K-7 students, as well as those in 9th and 10th grades, in Abington is Tuesday, Sept. 6, while the first day for students in grades 8, 11 and 12 is the following day, Sept. 7.
Here is the list of dates to know for the 2022-23 school year:

First Day: Sept. 6 for students in kindergarten through 7th grade, as well as 9th & 10th grades; Sept. 7 for students in grades 8, 11 and 12
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 and 25
Winter Break: Dec. 26 to Jan. 2, with early dismissal on Dec. 23.
