Barnes & Noble Coming To Noble Town Center

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Among the new businesses coming to the Noble Town Center is a Barnes & Noble bookstore, filling the void of the one that closed nearby in Willow Grove a few years ago.

The renovated center at 901 Old York Road in the township's Jenkintown section is adding three restaurants and a treatment center, according to property owners Paramount Realty's website.

And, according to the website, a Barnes & Noble a few doors down from the Honeygrow, which recently opened its new location there.

The new restaurants are a Shake Shack, DIG, and Honeygrow. The additions will also include a treatment center called Laser Away.

The new space was created by dividing a former Walgreen's into four separate slots, a property map shows.

Barnes & Noble has recently reinvented itself of late.

A new location opened last year in the Barn Plaza Shopping Center in Warrington Township on the Doylestown Township line.

The bookstore will showcase the highly lauded bookstore design seen in the most recent Barnes & Noble store openings, featuring all the best books, toys, games and gifts that customers have come to expect from the national bookseller.

Barnes & Noble is enjoying a period of tremendous growth as the strategy to hand control of each bookstore to its local booksellers has proven so successful. The bookseller is experiencing strong sales in its existing stores and has been opening many new stores after more than 15 years of declining store numbers.

The Noble Town Center is a popular shopping destination along Old York Road. It's is near the Fairway and has other shops including a Trader Joe's at its upper level, Ross Dress for Less mid-level, and ULTA Beauty, and PetSmart.

Paramount Realty touts the town center as a perfect location with demographics reaching a population of 422,000 in a 5-mile radius, an average household income of $159,000 in a 1-mile radius, and 44,711 households in a 3-mile radius.
