Bill Cosby was released from Pennsylvania prison one year ago after the state Supreme Court overturned his criminal conviction.
ELKINS PARK, PA — Actor and comedian Bill Cosby is speaking out a year after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his criminal conviction on sexual assault charges.
Cosby, whose conviction had stemmed from allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman at his Elkins Park, Montgomery County home years ago, took to social media this week to reflect on his year of freedom.

Meanwhile, even though Cosby had his Pennsylvania criminal conviction overturned, he was not completely out of the woods, as a California jury recently found him liable in a separate civil case that had been brought by a woman who claimed Cosby sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager at the Playboy Mansion during the 1970s.
