Ujima Life Services is offering a free introductory session for Hekima Women’s Circle on Saturday, January 24, 2026. This virtual gathering is designed for women ages 55 and over who are interested in reflection, connection, and community during this season of life.
Hekima, a Swahili word meaning wisdom, honors the lived experience, insight, and resilience women bring into later adulthood. The circle offers a culturally grounded space to explore themes such as purpose, boundaries, aging, grief, joy, and freedom—without pressure to fix, perform, or explain.
Hekima Women’s Circle is a facilitated community gathering, not therapy or mental health treatment. The January 24 session is an opportunity to learn more about the circle before the full series begins.
